Active Merchant Coupons: Online coupons that a merchant has added to Here Is My Coupon that are live and available for download.
Book of business: The portfolio of merchants that a particular college student group has acquired to participate with Here Is My Coupon.
Credit a Student Group: This occurs
when the merchant is completing its registration process with Here Is My Coupon. The merchant credits the student
group that is working with them prior to paying for their coupon(s), so that the
student group can receive their revenue.
Disbandment: When a student group is
no longer approved to participate in the Here Is My Coupon program for failure
to meet the necessary requirements for active enrollment. Disbandment can occur
due to poor organization of the group, failure to respond to required elements
of the registration/account change processes within the stipulated timeframe, as
well as, any other violation of the student group guidelines as outlined on
HereIsMyCoupon.com.
Fans: Searchers/savers that want to
be notified as to new coupons from specific merchants.
First Release: July 2010: Grand
Opening of HereIsMyCoupon.com. At
this point, functionality will be limited to include the ability to create a
student group profile, create business cards, sign up for our newsletter, and
much more. Visit us again in August for our 2nd release which will
include our merchant section.
House Account: A merchant who is not
in an active territory or who has not been approached by a student group can
credit Here Is My Coupon’s House Account during the registration process. If a merchant selects the House
Account, Here Is My Coupon will assign their account to be managed by one the
top student groups in the state. Any merchant who credits the House Account upon
registration will appear in merchant searches with “HA” beside their business’s
name.
Minimum Performance Guarantee: Each
merchant’s coupon has a minimum level of points that they are guaranteed to
obtain. These points are acquired when a saver views their coupons and by
applicable usage of these coupons as outlined by Here Is My Coupon. If a coupon
does not reach this guaranteed number of points after one year, that coupon will
remain active until it reaches that threshold.
Merchants: Business owners who wish
to advertise their business or services with Here Is My Coupon.
Merchant Coupon: A coupon that
represents a registered merchant on our site.
These can be in the form of a percentage off, dollar amount off, or via
other promotional means. Each merchant is able to post up to three coupons at
one time.
Merchant Coupon Credit: This occurs when the merchant is
completing its registration process with Here Is My Coupon. The merchant credits the student
group that is working with them prior to paying for their coupon(s), so that the
student group can receive their revenue.
Mission Statement: The goals and
direction of a school-registered student group.
Student groups must provide this during the group’s registration process
to be verified and activated by Here Is My Coupon.
Monthly Report: The merchant receives
this monthly report to view the status of their coupon. It includes statistics
relative to how each coupon promotion has worked with summaries. How many times
each coupon is viewed, printed, emailed, sent to a phone, and registered fans.
Points: The merchant receives points
when a saver views, prints, or sends their coupon to their phone. Points illustrate the status of
merchant coupons, including whether or not a coupon has reached the threshold
for the minimum performance guarantee.
Savers: Individuals who go to Here Is
My Coupon to search for and utilize merchant coupons.
Second Release: August 2010: Here Is
My Coupon will have more functionality for the student groups but still a few
limitations for the merchants. The
available functionality will include the ability to create a sample coupon,
create a merchant, merchants are now able to register, and much more. Visit us
again on October for our final release, at which point Here Is My Coupon will be
fully functional.
Student Group: A college
oruniversity-registered student group that works to secure merchants’
participation with Here Is My Coupon for a commission.
Subscription: A merchant must sign up
on Here Is My Coupon to subscribe to receive our monthly reports via email.
Merchants can then view these daily updated reports through their account on the
Here Is My Coupon website.
Third/Final Release: October 2010:
Here Is My Coupon will be fully functional at this time.
Threshold: The minimum level that a
group or merchant must achieve. For
the student group, it is the number of active merchant coupons that they must
acquire to maintain an active status with Here Is My Coupon. For the merchant,
it is the number of points that each coupon is guaranteed to receive.
